P&T Committee and Medicaid DUR Board

The purpose of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee is to evaluate the relative safety, efficacy, and effectiveness of prescription drugs within a class of prescriptions drugs and make recommendations to the state on the development of the Washington State Preferred Drug List. The P&T Committee also serve as the Medicaid DUR Board as required by federal law.
