The purpose of the P&T Committee is to evaluate the relative safety, efficacy, and effectiveness of prescription drugs within a class of prescriptions drugs and make recommendations to the state on the development of the Washington State Preferred Drug List.
Mason Bowman, PharmD

Mason Bowman is a pharmacist with the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic since my graduation from WSU in May 2008. He is a member of the YVFWC P&T Committee and function as the primary researcher for the committee since the committee's inception in January 2009. He is also an active member of the New Hope Clinic which serves to provide medical, nursing, dental care, as well other resources to persons living with HIV/AIDS in Yakima and Central Washington.
Jay Fathi, MD

Dr. Fathi is a practicing family physician and the Medical Director for Primary Care and Community Health for Swedish Health Services. His areas of responsibility include health policy issues and innovations in healthcare delivery and financing. He serves on several regional, state, and national boards and committees focused on community health and quality and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Barak Gaster, MD

Dr. Gaster is an Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Washington, in the department of Internal Medicine. A particular area of interest of Dr. Gaster’s has been the treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Gaster is Chair of the Narcotic Review Committee at the General Internal Medical Center and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Eric Harvey, PharmD, MBA

Eric Harvey is a pharmacist at Seattle Children's in Seattle and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Washington. As Pharmacy Quality Manager, he is responsible for coordinating formulary and drug use policy decisions, supporting pharmacy quality improvement projects, and managing the training programs for pharmacy students and residents at Seattle Children's.
Po Karczewski, ARNP

Mr. Karczewski is a family psychiatric certified ARNP and sees children, adolescents and adults for medication management at Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare in Lakewood WA, where he is the team leader for the prescribing group. He is a member of AAPPN, The Psychiatric ARNP professional organization.
Christine Klingel, PharmD

Christine Klingel is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist at Columbia Valley Community Health in Wenatchee. Her clinical pharmacist activities include anticoagulation and diabetes management under prescriptive protocol in addition to outpatient dispensing. She is a member of the American Pharmacists Association and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Susan Rowe, PharmD

Dr. Rowe is a clinical pharmacist and faculty member at Tacoma Family Medicine Residency Program, part of MultiCare Health System. She is an affiliate faculty member with the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, and also active with the MultiCare pharmacy residents.
Christopher H Smith, MD

Dr Smith is a board certified Internal Medicine physician at Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. As Director of Medical Education, he is responsible for overseeing the training of students, residents and fellows at Pacific Medical Centers.
Kenneth Wiscomb, PA-C

Mr. Wiscomb is a Physician Assistant working for Snoqualmie Valley Hospital where he practices family medicine in their North Bend Medical Clinic and manages the Employee Health Services Clinic. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of Health Care Onsite, Inc., a work site based health promotion company. In addition, Mr. Wiscomb is a Fellow and past President of the Washington State Academy of Physician Assistants.
Deborah Wiser, MD

Dr. Wiser is a board certified family physician and a faculty member of Family Medicine Spokane Residency Program, a part of the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Programs. This is an urban clinic providing full-spectrum Family Medicine, including outpatient services for adults and children, inpatient hospital services, and obstetrics. Areas of interest include prevention, informatics, and obstetrics.
